How Rating is Calculated

User Trust Index is an intelligent system for forming objective company ratings based on the analysis of real user reviews and comments posted in open internet sources.

The system is based on processing tens of thousands of textual mentions of a company. We do not simply aggregate reviews, but deeply analyze their content, reliability and context to form the fairest and most representative assessment.

A multifactor evaluation model is used to determine the authenticity of reviews. Algorithms built on machine learning technologies analyze behavioral, textual and statistical features of comments, identifying unnatural patterns characteristic of bots and artificial manipulation. Artificial intelligence accurately distinguishes real user opinions from paid or generated reviews.

Company rating formation goes through several sequential stages:

  • collection of reviews and comments about the company from various internet sources;
  • primary filtering using bot activity detection models;
  • in-depth analysis of patterns of manipulated and manipulative reviews;
  • semantic analysis of each comment with identification of key advantages and disadvantages of the company;
  • calculation of an individual, weighted assessment for each review taking into account its reliability and content value;
  • formation of the final rating based on the averaged value of verified assessments.

A multi-level system of filtering and analysis allows us to accurately determine the real level of trust in a company, excluding the influence of distortions and manipulations.

Our goal is to create a transparent and fair environment in which conscientious companies receive deserved trust and customer inflow, while companies with problem areas receive clear signals to improve the quality of their products and services.
